 Step 1 Open the Setup

    Step 3: Complete installation. DO NOT START PHOTOSHOP.

    Step 4: Open notepad (Run as Administrator) and click ‘Open…’ (Make sure ‘All Files’ is selected.)

    Step 5: Now navigate to your hosts file located at;

    Step 6: Open the file named ‘hosts’ with notepad and add the following entries; (If you cant see your hosts file, make sure to enable viewing of hidden files.)

    Step 7: Save it. (Make sure its saved as ‘All Files’, not ‘.txt’)

    Step 8: Your installation is complete. I suggest you restart your computer, Photoshop CS5 should stay activated. (If you don’t update Photoshop)

Note: After installation, you may have to provide the serial again.
